HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?
What is the cost of livery?
We offer 5 day livery- this includes all hay/haylege and straw.
Your horse will be looked after fully on a Monday to Friday basis, all you need to do is groom and ride!
This is £450 per calendar month.
Limited DIY spaces are available at £185 per calendar month.
Weekend and holiday cover as required.
Schooling/lunging /excersize of your horse is available as required.
How are your fields set up?
Our fields are in same sex herds with a maximum of ten horses.
We adhere to the BHS recommended minimum acreage Guidelines so all our horses have plenty of room and grazing in well maintained fields.
All fields have water either from a natural river, water tankers,or automatic water troughs.
Fields have a mixture of natural hedging, stone walls or post and rail fencing.
The fields are all rolled, harrowed, weed killed, hedges cut, and fertilized as necessary every year.
We do not offer individual grazing because we firmly believe as horses are herd animals they are happiest kept like this.
New horses are carefully introduced to minimize disruption for all concerned with great success.
Are there any time restrictions or lots of unnecessary rules?
Well, in a word, no!
We are a working farm so there is always someone doing something at all times of the day.
We have owners that are riding from as early as 6am and as late as 9pm. Flexibility is our aim.
We love the yard to be as stress free as possible, you'll hear no raised voices or see any stressed horses!
We expect our liveries to use their common sense and be polite and tidy, helpful and supportive to others but not interfering.
Our motto is "Nice people and nice horses"
